Our personalized jewelry is hand stamped rather than engraved, so we accommodate text to fit our standard font sizes. Therefore, we use abbreviations as much as possible to maximize space on our medical alert jewelry. For instance, for a penicillin allergy, we would use PCN to save space. If you have a rare disease that medics many not be as familiar with at a glance, that is something we will want to spell out. If your request falls under our normal abbreviations and it’s warranted for space, we will use them automatically. If we are unsure, we will contact you first. If there is something you don’t want abbreviated, please indicate when you check out and we’ll contact you if we have space constraints.
