FAQs

Where do I leave my personalization request?

Use the personalization box. Orders may be cancelled if shop doesn't receive customization. Personalization notes are not read until order is processed. Personalized orders are non-returnable unless we have made an error.

How do I contact you?

Use the "Contact" link under "HELP" in the menus at the bottom of the page. Studio is normally open weekdays 9am-5pm, excluding holidays. Messages are usually answered within 24-48 hours during studio hours.

How long will it take to get my order?

NO DELIVERY DATE GUARANTEE. If you have a deadline, please message us first.

ORDERS NORMALLY SHIP IN 3 to 5 BUSINESS DAYS via USPS First Class Mail to the address you input. Plan additional 2-5 (or up to 10 occasionally) shipping time with first class USPS shipping for domestic orders. Shipping upgrade available. Priority Shipping is 2-3 business days after processing time but USPS does not guarantee and it can take longer. (Note: This is NOT a rush order option. I do not offer a rush option.) Orders will not be refunded or cancelled due to shipping delays caused by USPS or buyer not reading this shipping info.

What happens if my package is lost or delayed?

All packages receive a tracking number, which is sent to the buyer in an automated email when the order ships. Shop does not cover the cost of lost packages or packages that tracking indicates have been delivered. First class packages do not come with insurance. (Priority shipping option automatically comes with $50 insurance.) Insured packages are not refunded or replaced until the claim has been filed and paid through USPS. Shop not responsible for delayed shipping due to weather, holiday rush or other USPS missteps. Buyers are expected to follow up with their local USPS regarding delayed or lost packages.

Can I return?

Personalized items cannot be returned unless we have made an error. Note that the cost of initial shipping will be deducted from refund. DO NOT send item back without contacting us first, as this does not guarantee a refund.

Is the hand stamped lettering done by a machine? Will it look perfect?

No! Pendants are literally hand stamped one letter at a time, NOT machine-engraved. Letters rarely line up completely straight or perfectly. It's part of the charm of hand stamped pieces. If you are extremely picky, this is NOT the jewelry for you. (NOTE: Most pieces cannot be stamped on both sides.) Artist reserves the right to change font and design, to accommodate customization requests.

Some non-personalized pieces are created with a laser and will be much more precise. Every piece is labeled with how the lettering is done so you know what to expect.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Keep jewelry dry from sweat, water, and soap and remove at night. Store in a plastic sealed bag. Pewter, Sterling Silver, Silver Plate, Gold Plate and Tibetan Silver will all tarnish. Aluminum, Stainless, and Gold Fill should not tarnish but will pick up oils and dirt, causing them to dull. Use a silver polishing cloth to shine aluminum, pewter and sterling. Use an untreated cloth and/or mild soapy water to clean silver plate, gold filled and stainless charms without scrubbing. Gold plate and Tibetan silver, clean only if you must, gently with a cotton ball.

What metals do you use?

★ Aluminum: Pure high-grade. Extremely lightweight & durable. Won’t rust or tarnish. Sterling alternative.
★ Pewter: Soft precious metal. May tarnish on some skin.
★ Stainless Steel: Strong, durable, easy to clean, scratch, tarnish & rust resistant. Affordable & hypoallergenic.
★ Sterling Silver: Precious metal shinier and whiter than other silver color metals & more expensive. Will tarnish.
★ Gold Fill: Thick layer of 14k rose gold or yellow gold pressure bonded to copper/brass. More valuable, has 100% more gold than gold plate. Won't tarnish or flake & can last a lifetime.
★ Gold Plate: Extremely thin layer of gold over brass. Will tarnish & flake off easily.
★ Tibetan Silver: Lead & nickel free alloy. Will tarnish eventually
